Program Director

Sandy Anker
Sandy joined the YVC family as program director in 2019. Along with her own love of volunteering, she brings her experience of parenting five teenagers and aspires to nurture a passion in youth for community service through YVC. Sandy has a B.S. in Secondary Education and an M.A. in Professional Writing, and has taught all ages professionally and as a volunteer. When she’s not homeschooling her youngest two teens, you can find her knitting, hiking, reading, or traveling.
