Cailyn, HomeschooledCailyn is in her sophomore year and wants to pursue a career in veterinary technology. She has volunteered with the Joplin Humane Society, Hearts & Hammers, Downtown Joplin Alliance, and Ronald McDonald House. She is homeschooled and enjoys painting, reading, playing basketball, riding horses, and decorating cakes with her dad in her free time.

Samantha, HomeschooledSamantha is a homeschooled junior who has been volunteering with YVC for almost three years. She serves on the teen advisory board at the Joplin Public Library and has volunteered there two summers in a row. She loves all dogs, but especially her little Poodle named Daisy. In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading, crocheting, and participating in community theatre.

Shrihari, Thomas Jefferson Independent Day SchoolShrihari is a junior and has volunteered with Youth Volunteer Corps since ninth grade. Shrihari finds great joy and satisfaction from helping others, especially in his own community. He has seen first-hand the impact his volunteering actions can have on the livelihood of others. Following his passion for helping others, Shrihari hopes to become a doctor someday.
